Description
The Brazilian term Bossa Nova, “the new thing”, was coined to describe the samba and jazz era and refers to any new trend or “fashionable wave”. Bossa Nova fulfilled this definition in Paarl when it opened its doors in 2002. As a “new thing” it was well received and, if popularity is anything to go by, has continued as a most “fashionable wave”.
Centrally situated in Paarl’s main road, Bossa Nova is a popular restaurant meeting the needs of a variety of clients. Whether a tourist or a local resident, from the very young to the young at heart, you are sure to enjoy your time spent with us.
Sports-lovers flock to our bar, with its bustling atmosphere and big-screen television. Whether you want to kick back and relax with friends or support your favourite team in the big game, Bossa Nova is the place to be.
Our spacious restaurant specializes in pizzas, burgers, salads and steaks and for the not-so-hungry we have a selection of pub-lunch style basket meals. We also have a late-night menu. We have a vast amount of indoor seating available, as well as a fully-equipped children’s room so that parents can enjoy their meal while the kids are having fun. Should you prefer to sit outside, however, you can choose between our enclosed and our open decks.
