Plettenberg Bay - Trogon House and Forest Spa
Trogon House lies in untouched indigenous forest - halfway between Keurbooms River and Natures Valley, the most scenic and unspoilt stretch of the Garden Route. The journey to Trogon takes guests past an elephant, bird and monkey sanctuary, and finally enters a 1.4km pristine track winding beneath a forest canopy, the track opens up and reaches a sun-drenched pool deck with spectacular views of natural forest.
Elevated into the tree tops, the lodge embraces the forest with see through glass walls and sky-lit roofs, creating a true "nature forest" experience. This secluded hideaway is tastefully decorated with excuisite attention to detail. The finest Egyptian linen, silks and crystal combined with exotic antique and African art treasures.
The main lodge of expansive reception areas and two bedroomed suites is linked by elevated walkways to two hidden forest suites; continuing to a private spa and treatment centre. The Forest Spa houses a cosy fireplace with jacuzzi and exclusive sauna. The various massage and wellness treatments are provided by a renowned therapist and range from salt scrubs and Swedish Massages to Hot Stone and Aromatherapy treatments.
What really sets Trogon House apart is its absolute privacy and exclusivity in the midst of nature's pristine beauty. Trogon House is created for the exclusive use of one party offering accomodation for a maximum of eight guests. Pure indulgence for all senses is guaranteed and offered for a guest's absolute enjoyment and pleasure.
Accommodation: Main lodge includes master suite with en-suite bathroom and twin bed suite with separate bathroom. 2 private luxury forest suites each with en-suite bathrooms 3 King size-beds & 2 three-quarter size beds (exclusive use, maximum of 8 guests)
Additional Facilities: Private Spa & Wellness centre, this includes free use of sauna and jacuzzi. Satellite television and telephones in all rooms & areas. Private chef on request.
Activities incuded: Daily guided forest walks, night drumming session on the deck by the pool, spa treatments, swimming, bird watching and private picnics. Dining at Trogon house is optional and provided by the lodge.
Additional activities: The following activities can be arranged but are not included in the cost. Elephant back safari, adventure activities such as bungee jumping (the highest in the world), river rafting, hot air ballooning beach trips, and the world's largest free flight bird sanctuary.
